hello earth (2024)

A tiny audio drama about aliens, the Scottish wilderness and what it means to be a person. There is also a cat and some breakbeat music.

hello earth is an experimental microfiction audio drama project. It follows the story of Nikki and their cat, Scully, as they send radio messages out into space, hoping to make first contact with extraterrestrial life.

This series was designed with minimalism in mind, and was made sort of in opposition to the maximalist approach I'd taken with Camlann earlier that year. The series was edited live on Twitch (now archived on Youtube) and was designed in as many ways as possible to be small.
